Coolness, Dudes. And Thanks.
I must confess that I stole the title for this entry straight from one of my nieces. And I think she stole it from a friend of hers.
It is hot here in Kentucky. Brutally hot. And humid. I’m sitting at a friends office typing this up, and the air conditioning is wonderful. Not that it’s not wonderful at home too, but sometimes I have to get away from my usual writing hole, to a place where there are people interacting – living – and doing other things around me. It gets terribly quiet at the house sometimes.
My Palview project has mushroomed into a full blown css learning experience. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, as I wanted to dive into css a little deeper in order to apply a style sheet to my old html N8UX Web site. So here we go, buddy boys and girls. My plate of to-dos now holds a couple movie reviews, a few book reviews, learning css, learning Palview, and blogging about the things that I enjoy. Not all of these things are chess-related, but to be true to the readers here, I suppose I should keep it close to that topic here on Out of the Ether. If I get enthused about something else, I can always start another blog.
And I want to again thank all of you who are reading and subscribing to this blog. It’s been over a year now since I started it (I created n8ux.wordpress.com July 25, 2006). My main reason for starting a blog was to get myself in the habit of writing something on a regular basis. I had no specific topic or niche in mind. You can see this from the early posts. But it eventually morphed into a rediscovery of Chess journal. And I’m glad to see there are several others who enjoy it.
