I think it’s no coincidence that creative talent and Chess often meet in these videos.

There are Archives, Then There are Archives.

I have no idea why there are two identical archives widgets in my sidebar. Some WordPress weirdness, I suppose.

I’m working on my “About” page for Out of the Ether. How does one describe a blog about life’s rediscoveries in two or three sentences? Will probably take more than that, but I don’t want to clutter the sidebar. More work to be done.

Perhaps it’s time to move to a dedicated server. I have one machine here at the office – n8ux.no-ip.org – that is a telnet server, but I think it’s a little lacking in performance to be used as a WordPress web server which requires MySQL. I know I’m heading in that direction, though. The readership is increasing, and there are things I want control of that I just can’t do with the site while it’s on WordPress.com. But I do love the WordPress online editing.

Update: Now magically I’m back to one archive widget. Some things we are not meant to understand.
