I want to take a moment to point out a post from Edwin Meyer on Tom Murphy.

Susan Polgar’s blog also picked up on it this morning, but I saw it on on Mr. Meyer’s site first. Just goes to show that it’s not just the “big name” blogs that come up with the good stuff. In all truthfulness I think they “borrow” some ideas from us little guys. But that’s ok – we’re all in this boat, taking the same trip. Some of us are at the tiller, some of us are hoisting the sails, a few of us are bailing. It’s a weird trip though, huh?

It’s terrific to see so much varied discussion regarding the game of chess. The studying, the pure nonsense stuff (I’ll raise my hand as a small contributor to that category), and just the general enthusiasm for the game.
